GUESTS AND VISITORS CAN “TRAVEL IN PLACE”
AT ROSEWOOD BANGKOK THIS FESTIVE SEASON

Rosewood Bangkok celebrates the festive season with curated experiences, sleepovers and feasting inspired by the notion of “traveling in place” and transporting patrons on journeys nationwide, worldwide and even back in time.

The journey begins with a trip around Thailand through its art. In partnership with SAC Gallery, Rosewood Bangkok gives nod to Thailand’s contemporary artists and designers with an Art Christmas Tree, a one-of-a-kind installation displayed at Rosewood Bangkok’s sky lobby on the 7th floor. The unique Christmas tree is a joint vision to bring a festive season tribute to the heart of Bangkok while supporting Thailand’s creative community. The four-meter-high tree structure will feature more than 38 art pieces from 13 different artists across Thailand.

The voyage continues to Europe with an epicurean feast at Lakorn European Brasserie. The winter flavors salute the season in a “Festive Afternoon Tea” — a classic English afternoon tea with a French twist and merry flair. Chef Florian Couteau, Rosewood Bangkok’s executive pastry chef, presents special sweet treats to bring holiday sparkle to celebrations, daily from November 27 to January 7 2020. Highlights of the Festive Afternoon Tea include Foie Gras Terrine with Cranberry, Chestnut and Cognac Tartlet, Eggnog Ice Cream, Orangettes and Panettone. Festive Afternoon Delight is available daily 2:30 to 5 p.m. at THB1,490 per person.

Also at Lakorn, diners are invited to join a celebratory four-course feast and semi-buffet stations of European favorites on 24 and 25 December. Diners can enjoy a menu inspired by the winter flavors of Europe while surrounded by glittering seasonal decorations in a sophisticated setting. Highlights of the special dinner include Scallop Carpaccio with Oscietra Caviar and Australian Wagyu Beef with Black Truffle and Potato Mousseline.

Lakorn guests can celebrate the year-end with an indulgent and exquisite four-course New Year’s Eve dinner, with highlights include Mandarin Foie Gras, Duck Confit and Lobster Thermidor. Guests can continue to feast with premium buffet and live stations all night long.

The premium buffet stations for the Christmas and New Year’ Eve dinners extend the theme of a European gastronomic tour with cheese selections from Fance, Italy and Spain, cured “Label Rouge” Norwegian salmon, Jamon Iberico, Pâté en Croûte and more. The meals finish with a flourish with an assemblage of sweet confections by French Pastry Chef Florian Couteau.

The Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Eve Dinner is available at THB2,980 per person.

Guests can start 2021 with a leisurely breakfast all the way until 2 p.m. at Lakorn European Brasserie with The Breakfast Club serving up the finest fresh, premium ingredients at a semi-buffet breakfast. Live cooking stations whip up winter comfort food favorites such as fluffy Belgium waffles and pancakes while beloved Asian essentials include Thai noodles, hot congee, sui mai, Chinese pork and custard buns. The Breakfast Club New Year Edition is available from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at THB1,300 per person.

Guests can figuratively travel to the Land of the Dragon with an authentic Chinese dining experience at Nan Bei. Patrons dine in style with special à la carte menu items including Double-Boiled Sea Horse Soup, Fish Maw with Jamon Iberico, Asparagus and Supreme Broth, Crab Roe and Kurobuta Beijing Meatballs. Special menu highlights to dine in style will be available from November 11, 2020 to January 31, 2021.

Revelers will be transported back in time as they ring in the New Year in style at Lennon’s, the yesteryear-style speakeasy bar perched on Rosewood Bangkok’s 30th floor. Here they will be entertained with tunes courtesy of the vinyl-spinning DJ while enjoying refined signature cocktail selections, handcrafted by experienced mixologists. When the clock strikes midnight, they’ll have the best seats in the house to admire the stunning views across Bangkok’s skyline. Unlimited tipples is available at THB4,999 per person from 9 p.m. until 12:30 a.m.

Rosewood’s festive season delights even further with Rosewood Bangkok Surprise Hampers, which include the best of the ultra-luxury hotel’s products and services. Only 200 hampers are available and all are priced at THB9,999 each.
