She lead the designers team to deliver the new experience through the concept: THE NEW REALITY creating elegant design for everyday life and every occasions.
From then until now the female leaders in design and art industry have been source of inspiration for CANITT for over 7 years’ time. Every pattern shows the determination of the creative director connecting with the romantic line that bonded with contour of the women body shapes. “The signature point of CANITT design have always been clean tailored with vintage design. You would see women who wears the early collections of the brand as fragile and sweet yet seductive who found for romantic characters of our work up until today”
THE NEW REALITY AUTUMN / WINTER 2020 comparable to opening a new door of ideas and design under the core idea of Escapism which is not escaping from the great change in this world but to create equilibrium in living. This flows along with the design of this collection mixing the extraordinary ‘Elements’ of the brand for the past 7 years composing with new patterns is the challenge of designers to lift up the creation to be the best in every functions.
“To search for the first sketch from the design school and tracing back to the memory of draping on the first dummy evoked the possibilities in design that sum up all the dominant points of CANITT as one. Like turning the page of a book called the art of Scrapbook by Cecil Beaton that pieces the ideas from every era together magnificently” the creative director told us the initial idea behind this design.
Details of the framework in every dress started out with lines on patterns that is very precise and continuously, with the perfect ratio and ended with femininity to mixed lively romantic and clean street modern design. Especially the attraction piece such as trench coat shirt dress bomber jacket that cuts down the seriousness for the relaxing days.
The use of materials concerning the weather of our country such as chiffon duchess and satin the needs the craftsmanship of the masters only for perfect result. “About the design for winter many might think of intensive and heavy shades but for CANITT in every season there’s always sensitivities and fragility. Comparable to the love for our design therefore the print pattern of this collection is ‘Chain of Love’ with the initials C and N which stands for the bonding that we have for every woman who wore CANITT”
The significant color for this collection is the Dark Violet shade to adjust for the new look. To create attractions on the cool silhouette that will make you totally forget an ideal dress like ‘Little Black Dress’ forever. Also, the use of classic shades of the brand such as Beige and Off white to create fun experience to mix and match the clothes for everyday life easily.
“We don’t attach to the definition of clothing design according to seasons because fashion is feelings and emotions. We want women to have fun dressing up not worrying about being in-trend or not but pleasing to wear CANITT in their own style. Therefore, this collection you will see new design of silhouette that has never been seen before in the previous collections. Because we have put the touch of sportswear into the design. Especially many types of pants such as cargo pants, new materials long pants, jacket and the classic piece like slip satin dress that was design with length and shapes to enhance sexiness in you.” The blend of simplicity and new vision for the definition of elegance hidden in every details of this collection as a special gift the CANITT design team wish to give to every woman to show their application and thankfulness.
