The people of Trang, Phatthalung have welcomed Their Majesties the King and Queen
Yesterday, a large number of people in Trang and from nearby provinces waited to welcome Their Majesties the King and Queen who were on a royal mission to Trang.
Their Majesties the King and Queen arrived at Trang Airport to preside over the opening of Phatthalung City Pillar Shrine, Thamiram subdistrict, Muang Phatthalung district, Phatthalung province, in the evening, amid the joy and happiness of the local people.
In Phatthalung, people of the city and others from many southern provinces traveled to Khuan Prong Temple, Thamiram subdistrict, Muang Phatthalung district, to welcome Their Majesties the King and Queen. Some of them came in family groups in the morning to wait for the arrival of Their Majesties the King and Queen.
Most people wore yellow shirts and carried an image of Their Majesties the King and Queen. There were also people from other provinces such as Chiang Rai, Chumphon, Songkhla and many such areas. They said they wished to see Their Majesties the King and Queen up close.
At Khuan Prong temple, the Royal Medical Division has cooperated with Kanchanabarami Foundation’s medical unit, Phatthalung Provincial Office of Public Health, local hospitals and the Army Medical Department to launch a mobile medical unit to provide medical services to the public. A canteen was also set up.
