\nSunny is not the only highlight of the event, no less captivating is the rebirth of the legendary diver\u2019s watches, such as the 1968 Hi-Beat Diver\u2019s 300mm, 1965 62MAS 150m, and 1975 Professional Diver\u2019s 600m. These iconic watches have retained their original distinctive forms but have been redesigned to achieve more modernity. And with their extraordinary characteristics and highly efficient movements, the production team has adopted a special grade of stainless steel known as Seiko\u2019s \u201cEver-brilliant Steel<\/strong>\u201d for the cases of all three models.<\/p>\n

This type of stainless steel is even more resistant to corrosion than the steel used in almost all high-end watches in existence today, and is the first time in the watch industry that this type of steel is being used to produce the cases of the 1965 recreation and 1968 recreation, and for the edge of the case of the 1975 recreation while the case itself is made of titanium \u2013 the same material used for the original model. This material is used for the inner lining material, the stem and the crown, and other parts, that are also used in the construction of ships and submarines to mitigate corrosion in the environment that is full of chloride such as sea water \u2013 together with the application of the Ever-brilliant steel that has been set to a new level of durability for this new diver\u2019s collection.<\/p>\n

The movements of the 1965 recreation and 1968 recreation consist of high-frequency 8L55 caliber, while the 1975 recreation movement is installed with the 8L35 caliber movement. Both movements have been developed especially for diver\u2019s watches at the Shizukuishi Watch Studio with all three models fitted with Sapphire crystals anti-glare coated on the inner surface. The 1975 recreation is made even more amazing with anti-magnetic field property at as high as 40,000 a\/m.<\/p>\n
