Their Majesties the King and Queen have graciously met with citizens gathered in front of Kwaeng Phra Nakhon Sri Ayuthaya Court, following their laying of a foundation stone and officially opening the facility.

Those assembled for the occasion came from all districts of Ayuthaya as well as nearby provinces including Bangkok, Ang Thong and Samut Sakon. All wore yellow and waved royal and national flags with many also holding up images of Their Majesties the King and Queen and other signs expressing their admiration. Along the over 800 meter route Their Majesties traveled, gathered masses chanted “Long Live the King” as Their Majesties waved and smiled, showcasing exuberance and benevolence in spite of the heat.

Their Majesties met with some subjects holding photographs and graciously signed them so that they may bless their homes and families; they also received donations of funds, flowers and goods, promising to use the funds to aid disaster victims across the nation.

Their Majesties also ordered a royal cafeteria be setup to provide food and drink to crowds at four locations, at the Koh Kerd SACICT Center, Wat Worachet, Wat Ta Ka Rong and in front of the court. Those who received the food expressed their deep gratitude.
